Scimitarr is a 3-year-old bay stud. He has both a red based and a black based parent, so he can produce either, depending on your mare.
There are some really awesome horses on his pedigree! His sire, Maranello, a wonderful, gentle, 16 hh chestnut show horse, son of Magnum Psyche...a living legend! Magnum set and holds the record as Multi-National Champion and International Champion Stallion.

* 1980 U.S. Reserve National Champion Halter Stallion
* 1979 U.S. Top 10 Halter Stallion
* Sire of 974 foals
Bey Shah was the son of the great Bay El Bey. Bay El Beys impact was aptly described by film producer and Arabian owner Mike Nichols: "Bay El Bey changed the Arabian horse in America and then in the rest of the world. He put on long, arched necks that are set on very high. His special combination of intelligence, disposition, size, motion, and type redefined the horses we are breeding. Through his three great sons, Huckleberry Bey, Bey Shah, and Barbary, three great horses who made very different contributions, Bay El Bey has created the Arabian of today. He is not gone and will never be forgotten."
You're definitely not going to want to miss out on Scimitarr's offspring, and you certainly should consider him when you're looking for a great stallion for your own mares!

Qermit is a 3-year-old buckskin tovero stud. He's homozygous for the tobiano gene. Breed him to any horse you want...you have that solid Paint mare? He'll produce a gorgeous, spotted foal, guaranteed! (He does have a Frame Overo gene, so any mare bred to him must be negative for Frame Overo, to avoid the chance of a Lethal White foal. See the Genetic Diseases page for more on this.)
There are some really top quality horses on his pedigree. This guy's dam has Ris Key Business, Q T Poco Streke, Berts Fancy Bars, and Pepsi Poco ON her papers!!!
His sire, Magic, is a mulitple ROM and point producing stallion in halter and performance. Out of his first foal crop, his foals have stood Grand Champion at halter, Reserve World Champion, and top 10 overall at the Pinto Horse Association World Show!
My requirements were well defined when I was looking for just the right stallion prospect. I wanted him to be homozygous for the tobiano gene, and to have a overo gene present, to give a wide variety of pattern options. I wanted him to carry both the red and the black genes, so there is the full range of colors available. I also wanted a creme gene, to boot, with all the extra options that gives, for palomino, cremello, buckskin, smokey black, perlino, etc.. I also wanted a good deal of foundation breeding in any stallion prospect, with well recognized, accomplished horses up close. All that, besides being put together just right!
It was a tall order, and I wasn't sure I'd find him so quickly. Thanks to Dawn Heider of Infinite Creatures for steering me in the right direction, and to Mary Alice and Gary Manley of Homozygous Paints for breeding such a splendid horse!
Qermit has been DNA tested for both HERDA and GBED, and is N/N for both of these diseases. He does not have the genes to pass them on to any of his foals.
In 2011 all of our mares have been exposed to our Arabian Stallion, Scimitarr.
